INGREDIENTS
All ingredients to taste. Traditionally, as part of Seder meal, you eat it on a matzoh with horseradish….called a Hillel sandwich. Combine all ingredients — it should be made the day before. Use a food processor for the apples and walnuts, if you like.
Chopped Apples — traditional is half tart and half sweet — 4 or so, depending on size and how many you are feeding
It’s possible to make it with pears –as Devin and Becky did one year
Raisins or chopped dates — 1/4 C. or so
Walnuts or pecans chopped — around a cup
1/4 C. honey
1/4 C. Sweet Wine
1 tsp. Cinnamon — I would probably add 1 Tb.
