Gramma Ruth Peguero Horseradish

Kat brought this for Easter dinner in 2022 to accompany the roast lamb. It was so delicious, even horseradish haters cwould eat it. Reportedly it is fantastic on crackers (esp. Triscuit) and smoked salmon.

.5 C. Grated or prepared horseradish

.5 C heavy cream — whisk until thick but not soft picks

.5 sour cream or creme fresh

1 tsp. lemon juice

at least 2 T. finely chopped chives

salt and pepper to taste

DIRECTIONS

Whip the cream until it is slightly softer than you want it to be.

Add all the other ingredients and whip unitl mixed.
